Terms of Service

Last updated: 17 September 2026

1. Who we are

HabitGame is operated by Lewis Forder, trading as HabitGame ("we", "us", "HabitGame"), based in the United Kingdom. When you use HabitGame, you are contracting with Lewis Forder, trading as HabitGame. You can reach us at support@myhabitgame.app.

2. Accepting these terms

By creating an account or continuing to use HabitGame, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the service. You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of legal majority where you live) to subscribe.

3. The service

HabitGame is a subscription web app that helps you track habits, diet and macros, and personal finances, with gamified streaks, XP and levels. Features may evolve over time; we may add, change or remove features as we improve the product.

4. Your account

You must provide accurate information when signing up and keep it up to date. Keep your password confidential — you are responsible for all activity under your account. Tell us straight away at support@myhabitgame.app if you think your account has been compromised.

5. Payments and subscriptions

HabitGame Pro is billed at £8.99 per month or £59.99 per year. Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

Payment, billing, tax, cancellation and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel anytime in Settings or via paddle.net — cancellation stops future renewals and your access continues until the end of the paid period. See our Refund Policy for details.

6. Acceptable use

You must not misuse HabitGame. That includes:

  • Using the service for anything unlawful, fraudulent or deceptive, including spam.
  • Infringing anyone's intellectual property rights.
  • Interfering with the service's security or operation — introducing malware, probing or testing vulnerabilities, or scraping the service.
  • Reverse engineering the app, reselling or redistributing access, or circumventing technical limits.

7. Intellectual property

We own HabitGame and all of its intellectual property — the software, design, documentation and branding. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service within your subscription plan. Your data stays yours: you grant us a limited licence to host and process the content you enter (habits, meals, budgets and so on) solely to provide the service to you.

8. Service availability

We work hard to keep HabitGame running smoothly, but we don't guarantee the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the service is provided "as is" and we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

9. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these terms, fail to pay, create a security or fraud risk, or repeatedly or seriously violate our policies. You can delete your account at any time by contacting us. When your access ends, you may request an export of your data within 30 days, after which it will be deleted.

10. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability to you is capped at the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect, consequential or special damages (including loss of profits, data or goodwill). Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or anything else that cannot be excluded by law.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, except where consumer protection law gives you the right to bring claims in your home country.
